Mrs. Graf
Hello! My name is Vivien Graf and I am teaching the three year olds in preschool. I really enjoy the kids in my class. I want them to enjoy school and learn the basics which will make a big difference when they move up through school. For example, the kids will need to learn how to sit while listening to the teacher. As a teacher, I have over thirty years of experience split mostly between private and Catholic schools. Outside of preschool, I am a "Friend of the Library" in Chatham where I help organize bake sales to raise funds. One of my dogs, Auggie, is a therapy dog. He is a very large dog, but a true "gentle giant". Auggie and I have worked with kids and adults with special needs. My husband, Dave, often has to serve as my "social secretary" during the bake sale and the summer VBS at St. Joseph's church taking phone messages if I am unavailable. Besides the Cubs, I'm also a Blackhawks fan. I am really looking forward to the kids learning a lot of new things this year and having fun as well.
Mrs. Wellman
Hello! My name is Kris Wellman. I am the aide for the preschool three year old class. I have been a substitute teacher at Little Flower for the past six years. I have also been involved in many activities through the years with both my sons having attended this school. My oldest son, Elek, is a sophomore at SHG. My youngest son, Evan, is in sixth grade here at Little Flower. Both are involved in many sports which keep my husband and me very busy. I enjoy being a "Hockey Mom". I grew up in the Chicago area but I am a Cardinals and Blues fan!
I look forward to all the experiences preschool brings. I pray we will laugh often, learn much and have a good year.
